Q: Do I need to create an account with Yairoo?

A: At this point, we do not require you to create any elaborate account/registration with us. You can just forward us your online receipts at receipts@yairoo.com.  We would like you to sign up with us so that we could keep you updated with our new innovations but it is totally up to you and only thing we want at sign up is your email id.


Q: It can't be that simple as just forwarding an email. What's the catch?

A: There is no catch. It is just that simple. We all live in a busy world with various services and apps vying for our attention. We respect your time and have designed our service to keep your work minimal.


Q: Do I have to pay to use Yairoo services?

A: At this time we are providing our monitoring services to you absolutely free. We plan to provide other value added services such as managing all your purchases, managing your returns and other innovations which we may charge for. It is our hope that you will use our monitoring services, save a lot of money and become a loyal Yairoo champion. 

Q: What happens to the information in the receipt and email that I sent to receipts@yairoo.com?

A: Yairoo respects your privacy. In offering our services to you we strive to minimize the amount of personally identifiable information that we receive and retain. Once we receive your email with a receipt we process it and delete it. The only personally identifiable information that is retained is your email address to allow us to send price drop notifications or any other relevant communications as described in our Privacy Policy.  Please remember that deleted emails may still remain in our system for up to 60 days from original receipt.


Q: I feel uncomfortable sending my personal information in a receipt to you. Can I delete my personal information before I send Yairoo my receipt?

A: We understand that you may have concerns about sending us your entire receipt. We recommend that you delete your billing and shipping addresses and any credit card information before you forward us your receipt. To provide our service to you all that we need is the retailer name, order date, order number, product details and pricing in their original format. Please read our privacy policy to see how we process your email and what we do with it. We take all adequate precautions on our end but nothing can beat protecting your information right from your own mailbox.


Q: I have multiple items purchased on the same receipt. Will Yairoo track all of them?

A: Absolutely. We will track all the items on your online purchase receipt. If you don't want a particular item on the receipt tracked, simply delete it prior to emailing us your online receipt.

Q: I have some online purchases that I made a while back. Can I send Yairoo those online purchase receipts?

A: Please check the price adjustment policy for the retailer. Some retailers like Nordstrom and Kohl's with a fabulous customer service would work with you on price adjustment even though you bought that item a while ago. If you think knowing a price drop will help you, feel free to forward us the receipt. We monitor all receipts for 60 days from the day we get it. 


Q: Can I scan a paper receipt and email it to Yairoo?

A: At this time we are helping our customers track online purchase receipts only. We are constantly working on expanding our services and improving our ability to help you save money. We will let you know when this service is available if you sign up with us.


Q: How long do I have to wait for the price drop?

A: Retailer prices constantly fluctuate and while we cannot guarantee you savings on every product you purchase, we typically see significant savings realized by customers within 30 days.


Q: What should I do when I receive a notification from Yairoo that the price on one of my items dropped?

A: Yairoo is looking out for you and we send you an alert as soon as we see a price drop on any item that we are monitoring for you. You can contact the retailer through email, by phone, or even through visiting their physical store and request your price adjustment. If you would like, you can participate in our beta program of our iPhone app. This app can help you track all your adjustments and even draft an email to the retailer for a price adjustment. All you need to do is to press the "send" button from your own email id. Q: Do you have a mobile app for an iPhone, Android, or Blackberry?

A: We have an iPhone app in beta now. If you are interested in our iPhone beta program please email us at info@yairoo.com and we will be happy to work with you on adding you to the program. Also look out for it in the Apple app store soon. We are looking for other mobile platform applications to follow in the near future.
